About the Conference
The 4th International Conference on “Advances in Climate-Smart Technologies and Sustainable Practices in Sugarcane, Horticulture, and Allied Agricultural Sciences (ICCSMAS-2025)” will be organized during 10-12 Dec, 2025 at the Indian Sugarcane Research Institute of (ISRI), Lucknow, in collaboration with the ICAR-Central Institute for Subtropical Horticulture (CISH), Lucknow. Building on the success of its earlier editions, the conference is designed to serve as a global platform for researchers, academicians, policymakers, industry stakeholders, and students to exchange knowledge, share innovations, and deliberate on challenges and opportunities for achieving sustainable and climate-resilient agriculture. The primary purpose of ICCSMAS-2025 is to showcase cutting-edge research and climate-smart solutions in sugarcane and horticulture, while also addressing wider issues across allied agricultural sciences. The objectives of the conference are to highlight technological advancements in sugarcane research and innovations, advance horticultural sciences through genetic improvement, post-harvest management and nutraceutical potential, and promote multidisciplinary approaches encompassing agricultural engineering, biotechnology, smart and digital technologies, livestock, aquaculture, and agri-business. The deliberations will also focus on addressing global challenges such as climate change, renewable energy, water management, food and nutritional security, and health and wellness in agriculture. Through technical sessions, invited lectures, panel discussions, and poster presentations, the event aims to foster collaboration, strengthen research–industry linkages, and build capacity for future-ready agriculture. Special emphasis will be placed on inclusivity and societal impact by promoting gender equity, entrepreneurship, rural livelihoods, and sustainable food systems. By converging multidisciplinary expertise, ICCSMAS-2025 aspires to contribute to the global vision of climate-smart, sustainable, and innovation-driven agriculture, ensuring food, nutrition, and environmental security for future generations.
