The Pragati International Scientific Research Foundation (PISRF) has instituted several prestigious awards to recognize and honor outstanding contributions made by individuals and organizations across various fields of science, education, agriculture, and social development. These awards aim to encourage excellence and innovation among researchers, academicians, scientists, managers, NGOs, companies, institutes, organizations, entrepreneurs, and farmers who have demonstrated exemplary commitment to advancing knowledge and societal welfare.

Award Categories

1. Life Time Achievement Award

Presented to an individual, company, organization, educationist, or entrepreneur in recognition of outstanding and sustained contributions in their respective fields.
Eligibility: Above 55 years of age.

2. Honorary Fellowship

Conferred upon an eminent scientist for exceptional achievements and leadership in their area of specialization.
Eligibility: Above 50 years of age.

3. Fellowship

Awarded to scientists who have made significant contributions to research and innovation in their respective disciplines.

4. Distinguished Service / Scientist Award

Recognizes scientists for their notable service to science, education, and societal development, particularly in the upliftment of weaker sections.
Eligibility: Above 45 years of age.

5. Scientist of the Year Award

Granted to eminent scientists or academicians for outstanding research and professional achievements during the year.
Eligibility: 40–45 years of age.

6. Best Teacher Award

Presented to academicians or faculty members with a proven record of excellence in teaching, mentorship, and educational innovation.

7. Young Scientist Award

Recognizes young scientists, academicians, or faculty members for promising research and innovation in their respective fields.
Eligibility: Below 40 years of age.

8. Women Scientist Award

Honors eminent women scientists or academicians for their outstanding contributions to science, technology, and education.

9. Best Thesis Award

Awarded for exceptional Master’s or Ph.D. research work demonstrating originality, innovation, and impact.

10. Innovative Farmer Award

Presented to farmers who practice scientific and sustainable farming methods that enhance productivity and livelihood security with limited resources.

11. Best Book Award

Conferred upon authors or editors of books published by reputed national or international publishers, recognized for their scholarly impact and wide circulation.

Activities

The Pragati International Scientific Research Foundation (PISRF) has been established with the aim of promoting education, research, innovation, and sustainable development in agriculture and allied sciences. The Foundation is dedicated to uplifting marginalized communities, fostering human resource development, and addressing global challenges such as climate change, food security, and environmental sustainability.

Aims and Objectives

  1. Educational Development

    • Establishment of educational institutions and learning centers to enhance the education level of resource-poor and underprivileged communities, particularly in developing and least-developed countries.

  2. Agricultural Research and Development

    • Promotion of research, development, and dissemination of innovative agricultural technologies aimed at improving food, nutritional, and livelihood security of farming communities dependent on agriculture for sustenance.

  3. Human Resource Development

    • Organization of trainings, workshops, conferences, seminars, and scientific meetings for farmers, trainers, and other stakeholders to build technical and managerial capacities.

  4. Women Empowerment

    • Empowerment of women from socially and economically disadvantaged groups through entrepreneurship development in agriculture, horticulture, animal husbandry, food processing, and value addition sectors.

  5. Livestock Improvement

    • Implementation of livestock improvement programs focusing on genetic enhancement, better nutrition, and animal health management to increase productivity and profitability.

  6. Health and Sanitation Promotion

    • Initiation of sanitation and health awareness programs in rural and backward regions, particularly in developing and least-developed countries, to improve quality of life and community health standards.

  7. Climate Change Awareness

    • Creating public awareness about the adverse impacts of climate change on agriculture, biodiversity, and human health, while promoting adaptation and mitigation strategies.

  8. Climate-Smart Agriculture

    • Promotion of climate-smart agricultural practices to minimize greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from farming activities and ensure environmental sustainability.

  9. Renewable Energy Promotion

    • Encouraging renewable energy generation from agricultural residues, forest waste, human and animal waste, and other organic materials to promote clean energy and rural energy self-sufficiency.

  10. Bioenergy Development

    • Providing technical support and establishing facilities for the production of bio-methane, bio-ethanol, bio-CNG, and other forms of bioenergy for use in transportation, household energy needs, and power generation from organic waste such as crop residues, fruit and vegetable waste, and poultry or slaughterhouse waste.
